Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of CSL DRILL (the "Product"), provided by Kenneth Schiessl ("we," "us," "our"). By purchasing, accessing, or using the Product, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Product.
1. Eligibility & account
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@csldrill.com of any unauthorized use.
2. License — what you may do
Upon purchase, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to access and use the Product for your own individual exam preparation. "Lifetime access" means access for as long as we continue to operate the Product; it does not mean perpetual operation is guaranteed.
3. Restrictions — what you may NOT do
You may not, and may not allow anyone else to:
- share, sell, lend, rent, sublicense, or transfer your account or access to anyone else;
- copy, reproduce, scrape, download in bulk, republish, distribute, or create derivative works from the questions, answers, explanations, or any other content;
- use the Product on behalf of a group, class, or organization under a single account, or for any commercial resale or "group purchase" arrangement, without our written permission;
- attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security, access-control, or login feature;
- use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access or extract content.
Each license is for one person. Accounts showing signs of sharing or extraction may be suspended or terminated without refund.
4. Intellectual property
All content in the Product — questions, answers, explanations, design, code, text, and branding — is owned by Kenneth Schiessl or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. These Terms grant you a license to use it, not any ownership of it.
5. Payment
Prices are shown at checkout and are one-time charges unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed by our third-party processor (Stripe); we do not store your full card details. You agree to provide accurate billing information.
6. Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, incorporated here by reference.
7. Disclaimers
THE PRODUCT IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the content is accurate or current or that the Product will be uninterrupted or error-free. See also our Disclaimer, incorporated here by reference, including that we do not guarantee any exam result and are not affiliated with any licensing body.
8. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Kenneth Schiessl AND ITS OWNERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE PRODUCT, INCLUDING ANY FAILED EXAM, LOST LICENSURE, OR RELIANCE ON ANY CONTENT. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU ACTUALLY PAID FOR THE PRODUCT.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Product at any time.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms or the Product. Material changes will be posted with a new "Last updated" date; continued use after changes means you accept them.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Connecticut.
